It feels like I've been obsessed with velvet dresses for EVER. I constantly find myself trawling Etsy for vintage ones as it's rare to find one on the high street that doesn't look totally cheap and rubbish. UNTIL, that is, I discovered the divine Sam dress from Monki:
I bought this little number online for £25 but then my Dad brought me back the wine-coloured version from London and I've come to the realisation that I really don't need two almost-identical dresses SO...... I'M GIVING THIS BLACK ONE AWAY!
It's absolutely perfect - cinched in at the waist and crossed over at the boobs, with little pockets and long sleeves. Perfect for dressing up or dressing down.
The one I'm giving away is literally a BRAND NEW, never-worn size medium (check size guide but I'd say UK 10-12ish, but it's pretty stretchy to fit most body shapes):
