One fine pre-spring day, in the beautiful city of Evanston, a girl-next-door decided to combine her love for writing, fashion and shopping and started curating her style thoughts on a blog. She named it Style-Delights for it was her belief that style should always be delightful. She started writing, but she wrote sporadically and felt her messages were going into the black hole of the big bad web without being heard. She got tangled up in her big move from Evanston to New York and she did not write for almost 5 months!! But she was a fashion blogger at heart, she just needed to channel her creativity with dedication. And luckily, she did just that! She rolled up her sleeves, created her inspiration board and started tapping up the key board! She wrote about her style inspirations, her fashion sense and shared her nifty little style tips. She wrote about the outfits she was wearing, and the outfits she was coveting. She talked about everyday style and she talked about the celebrity style and she wrote about how to combined the two! It took her 8 months to realize the direction of her blog and whittle out the sharp focus for it. She has been writing almost everyday since December 2011 and her renewed focus and passion for style and writing now gets almost 40,000 page views a month. She is still a small blog, still learning the tricks of the trade and still growing every day. The best part of her journey so far- the interesting, creative, dedicated, stylish and over all awesome people she meets during the course of blogging! She is happy when she blogs, she is grateful for the love and support she got for it and she thanks her readers, her critics and the fellow bloggers who inspire her to blog her best!Moral of the story - What Dr Seuss said in the book Oh,The Places You'll Go - "You have brains in your head.
